About Me
I'm a veteran graphic novel creator from Melbourne, Australia. My first series, Hollow Fields, was published in 2007 and went on to be one of the winners of the inaugural International Manga Awards held in Tokyo that year. In 2017 I launched my supernaturally-themed ghost-out-of-water webcomic Rise From Ashes with LINE Webtoon, which went on to garner over 50 million views on the site.
Prior to becoming published, I worked as a public librarian, which further instilled a love of graphic novels inside my heart. I live in Melbourne with my husband and children - everyone in our little family is AuDHD, and each day is full of rampant chaos and spontaneous singing! I'm still a proud card-carrying member of ALIA - the Australian Library and Information Association, and I spend so much time at the local library they should just give me my own room at this point.
